Yael took an interest in printmaking after being inspired by community political printmaking movements such as Taring Padi in Indonesia and the protest art emerging from Oaxaca, Mexico.
She enjoys the ways that printmaking encompasses both unique states and reproduction, and the interplay between design and accident, and has thoroughly enjoyed studying printmaking at Melbourne Polytechnic.
