Sheridan Donovan
Epoch 2021
Diploma of Visual Arts
I’m an Australian artist that enjoys creating motifs and patterns. I practice art as a form of self therapy and find that it helps me express subjects that cannot easily be put into words. I like my work to remain ambiguous so that the viewer can base their own interpretation and personal experiences into the work they see in front of them instead of being told what they should see. As an artist it can be incredibly interesting to be told what others see in my own work that I perhaps don’t see myself.
After an incredibly challenging year I have a profound appreciation for my teachers and fellow students at Melbourne Polytechnic for all their support.
All available work is for sale.
