The torrid Roman summer, estate, with its blinding light, emphasizes the introspective narrative of the gazer. Although we are identified in relation to others and by the places in which we live or transit, in this series the subjects are isolated from those contexts, repositioning them into a seemingly abstract time. They are now part of the gazer fantasies.
