Marta Bravo San Andrés - Marvo
Illustre 2021
Diploma in Visual Arts (Illustration)
This is Marvo’s, the name I give to my play, fun, joy and passion that will hopefully become my profession as an illustrator, a creator of content that tells stories, inspires people, shares culture and serves in projects of other creators.
I’m willing to bring myself to the place where I become a part of a community, in this big place that allows me to create for creators, for myself, for big and small projects, for people that will end up being close friends or people that will only be conversations on the screen of my computer.
Be around people that inspires, willing to cooperate, discover, learn, feel what we are and what is around us, imagine and create what carries our expression.
My progress brings excitement and that excitement connects me more with me and as I create my marvo’s and I trust my moves, decisions and changes I evolve and discover myself.
This is the journey I have been traveling daily since I moved to Melbourne on January 2020 with the surprise of a lockdown that will be followed by some more in which home is where you are and will be. This came with struggle but also with time for me and my passion. This whole journey of the last 2 years studying with Melbourne Polytechnic has given me a wider range of possibilities within me and a lot of energy to discover and improve more with my practice and all things learned.
All the artwork in this exhibition is digital as is the most recent media I have learned and I have experimented with it a lot, though I love painting with oils and mixed media (gouache, watercolour and colour pencils mostly).
You can get a print of any of my artwork, feel free to contact me through mail on:

Madrid Me Mata
‘Madrid Me Mata’ or ‘Madrid kills me’ was a famous slogan that Madrid obtained in the 80’s during the famous movement ‘La Movida Madrileña’. There was a magazine with this name that represented this movement providing all sorts of media related with it.

We Made It
That Was A Good Idea
That Was A Good Idea

It Will Break
If you have not looked how it is and how it works then you may not treat it the way it should be treated.

Was It Just A Dream?
And if it was, how can I come back to it.
