ARTISTS STATEMENT
‘SHAPES OF BOREDOM"

I am always fascinated by imagery that oscillates in between fashion and fine art. Originally I imagined this series as a fashion editorial about shapes. As I was unable to access wardrobes and models in these restricted times, I found myself experimenting with paper craft and self-portraiture as an alternative. My series evolved from this exploration. When I put it all together, I realized I was viewing this series as an amusing sequence of mood fluctuations through boredom.
