For my character I decided to create Leonardo as I love his work and also the Renaissance time period. I combined Leonardo with Pop Art design elements to the piece inspired by Roy Lichtenstein’s work. I created the piece by originally drawing a portrait picture of Leonardo and later adding colour and halftones in Adobe Illustrator to give the piece fun elements of Lichtenstein’s pop art design. I also added some pop art humour to the piece by giving Leonardo a speech bubble saying “That’s Genius” to give him some character to fit the piece as pop art usually has some humour or irony in it.
