I am a Melbourne born artist based on the Bellarine Peninsula. My influences come from the natural environment. The interaction between pattern, colour and light inspires my work. I enjoy working with a range of media including watercolour, gouache, ink, acrylic and water mixable oil paint.

Lavender
It was a stunning day. The lavender flowers were at their peak of loveliness. I like the contrast of the blue cloudless sky and the lavender flowers

Heliconia
Hawaii has some beautiful tropical gardens. This Heliconia caught my eye, the brilliant colours in the flowers in sharp contrast to the lush green background.

Glenelg River Reeds
Late in the afternoon the sun was just setting. There was just enough light to make the dried stalks stand out against the shaded water.

Snapper
These beautiful salmon pink and bluish silver fish are in Port Phillip Bay, particularly around Corio Bay. There numbers are slowly increasing because most of the commercial fishing has been stopped and the stocks are slowly recovering.
