Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Development
I am a digital artist who has a passion for storytelling and character development. The Advanced Diploma in Creative Product Development is my final year of study at Melbourne Polytechnic after previously completing a Diploma in Illustration in 2019.
I have been working on a graphic novel titled ‘Worlds of Elixir’ for three years whilst also planning a video game based on the same story. In the process of developing my graphic novel, I have designed characters, established lore and made a world for the stories to unfold within.
Moving forward, my newly developed skills will help me realise my dream to become a digital role-playing game designer. A complete version of my graphic novel will be released in chapters on Tapas Comics at the start of 2022.
Please note that images 3 to 10 depict the following setup for each character: The portrait on the left is their neutral expression, next is their healed expression, the one in the middle is their attack expression, next is their hurt expression and the one on the right is their knocked-out expression.

The front cover of my Worlds of Elixir graphic novel. All of the images in Worlds of Elixir are sketched in coloured lines on paper, then inked. Then, I scanned the image onto the computer, before removing the coloured lines, adding flat colour and finally, rendering with shading and highlights.

The back cover of my Worlds of Elixir graphic novel. This was created following the same process as the front cover but with the edition of digital text.
